Aerial Yoga

Unleash your inner acrobat! Whether you’re a new student or a seasoned yogi, this class will increase strength, flexibility and satisfy your sense of adventure.

Experience aerial yoga to defy gravity, lengthen your spine and play in a safe exciting way.

Aerial yoga expands the benefits of asana practice by using the support of a suspended hip-height hammock, also known as a “silk”.

In this class students will safely explore a practice of both elevation and grounding to increase flexibility, strength and improve structural alignment. Enjoy the ease of inversions and better backbends while challenging your mind and adding a little excitement to your day.

Students that attend reformer pilates classes use a combination of movements on a reformer apparatus to engage in a full range of compound exercises.

The reformer pilates machine consists of springs, straps and a gliding carriage where students can push and pull using their arms and legs, achieving a low-impact full body workout.

Reformer Pilates

Our reformer classes offer all of the benefits of Pilates including increased core strength, flexibility and coordination.

The high intensity / low impact nature of reformer pilates helps improve posture and can be a great option for those recovering from injuries who want to maintain overall health.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need experience to take an Aerial Yoga or Reformer Pilates class?

Not an acrobat? Not a problem! We are a boutique fitness studio with a maximum of 10 participants for Aerial Yoga and 4 participants for Reformer Pilates and often have new FlyGirls & FlyGuys in every class. Some movement experience is recommended to help promote body awareness, however your instructor can offer personal modifications depending on your level of comfort. Still nervous? Start with our Aerial Yoga Foundations class or Lengthen & Strengthen Reformer Pilates class on our schedule. For those eager to learn quickly consider a 60 minute Private session to get familiar with movement principles and equipment.

Should I reserve my class ahead of time?

As silks and reformers are limited we strongly suggest registering for classes online ahead of time. Kindly note from time to time our classes become full and waitlisted. If your name is on the waitlist and a spot becomes available, you will receive an automatic email or text notifying you. Please accept to confirm or decline to cancel as there may be another person waiting in line. If there is no ‘Sign Up’ button on our Schedule next to a class that indicates our wait-list is also full. But do not fret! Same day changes can occur and last minute openings do pop up. For easy access to our schedule from your phone, please download the app below: Get it on Google PlayDownload on the App Store
